APRIL and MAY
These are the "Early" months, start out early and get back early with a cooler full. Fast Action Jigging takes advantage of these aggressive walleye spawning in close on the reefs.
JUNE & JULY
The bite is on! The weather is great! This is when the fair weather fisherman come out. Casting and Trolling are our best methods during these months. After a quick limit of walleye, let's go after some smallmouth!
JULY IS HOT FOR WALLEYE
ITS PROVEN YEAR AFTER YEAR, MORE FISH ARE CAUGHT IN JULY THAN ANY MONTH ON LAKE ERIE.
These trips are my most popular trips... the fish are stacked up in the cooler, deeper water. That's when the fast boat gets you out to the fish in a hurry!
AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER ARE FILL THE FREEZER MONTHS
These months offer Perch and Walleye Combos! Get our limit of perch and go after the "bonus" walleye!
OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER are our best Trophy months. We are often at the mercy of the weather during these months. But, this is when to go after those Fish Ohio Trophies. Lake Erie still holds many of the 1988 hatch. These are your 28"+ fish, and this is when to catch them.
TWILIGHT TRIPS and evening trips on Lake Erie are a great bargain. It's a fact that Walleye feed best early morning and late evening. We can take advantage of these peak feeding times. Four hours are often more than enough time to get our limit before the other boats even show up.
